PIKE COUNTY · GREENE TOWNSHIP · GREENTOWN
Lake Wallenpaupack Estates is a small, quiet private community at the western end of Lake Wallenpaupack in Greentown, Greene Township, Pike County, governed by the Lake Wallenpaupack Estates Property Owners Association. Its community marina gives members direct access to Lake Wallenpaupack for motorboating, fishing, and other water recreation. It is intentionally small and quiet, a contrast to the larger lakefront developments on the lake, and is not to be confused with the much larger Wallenpaupack Lake Estates in Paupack Township.
✗ STR Not Permitted — HOA Bylaws Prohibit Rentals
Rentals are not permitted at Lake Wallenpaupack Estates. The association's bylaws prohibit seasonal, vacation and year-round rentals. Homes whose owners built them before November 23, 2008 may retain grandfathered rental rights, but the bylaws state that any house built or sold after that date is not rentable, so a buyer cannot acquire rental rights with a purchase. Buyers should review the current bylaws with the Lake Wallenpaupack Estates Property Owners Association before purchasing.
