CARBON COUNTY · PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP · ALBRIGHTSVILLE
Valley View Estates is a private residential community in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, in the Albrightsville area. The township includes it in its official development maps, and property records show an association-governed subdivision with private maintained roads. Lots are wooded and generous, with two-acre homesites common and some considerably larger.
Unlike nearby communities such as Towamensing Trails or Bear Creek Lakes, Valley View Estates does not run a major recreational complex. The association concentrates on the road system and the residential environment, which gives the neighborhood a quieter, lower-density feel suited to buyers who want privacy and a conventional mountain home rather than pools, beaches and organized recreation.
The location opens onto the wider Carbon County and western Pocono recreation region, including Lake Harmony, Jack Frost and Big Boulder and the Jim Thorpe area, while staying in a more secluded wooded setting.
Valley View Estates does not maintain a public association website. Contact the listing agent or Kerry for association details. Note that a similarly named association website belongs to a different community outside Pennsylvania.
✗ STR Not Permitted — 6-Month Minimum Rental
Short-term rentals are not permitted at Valley View Estates. Penn Forest Township meeting minutes record that the community adopted a resolution prohibiting rentals of less than six months, with fines for violations. Penn Forest Township licenses short-term rentals elsewhere through an annual program with zoning approval and inspections, but the community's stricter six-month minimum controls here. Buyers should confirm the current association rules and obtain the governing documents before relying on any rental use.
